A representative for the airline denied any involvement at all in the incident and disputed reports that two ground crew members were connected to it.
“Faiza Javed, who is purportedly involved in the incident, is not employed by PIA in Canada,” the spokesman made clear, dispelling any connection to the person in question.
Speaking to the media, the spokesperson stressed that the rumors going around about PIA air hostess Hina Sani’s arrest are untrue and unfounded. They denied any connection between PIA’s activities and Hina Sani’s detention at the Toronto airport and refuted any speculations to the contrary.
Moreover, PIA declared that it would take legal action and that it was prepared to sue and bring a slander lawsuit in Canada.
“The airline maintains the right to protect its integrity and reputation from unfounded allegations,” the firm representative stated.
Hina Sani, a PIA air hostess assigned to flight PK-789 from Lahore to Toronto, was reportedly arrested after it was claimed that she was in possession of passports belonging to unrelated people. Citing a prior warning for allegedly smuggling goods into Canada, sources expressed worries about her behavior.
