A mechanical issue forced a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight headed for Peshawar to make an emergency landing at Dubai International Airport.
The technical problem occurred about fifty minutes into the flight, PK-284, which had taken off from Lahore. Tuesday, September 10, saw the plane safely land in Dubai after air traffic authorities instructed the crew to return.
As a precaution, passengers’ health was evaluated after arrival and they were led to the airport lounge. There were no reported injuries.
PIA is looking into the matter; the nature of the technical malfunction is unknown at this time.
