ISLAMABAD: To address the financial restrictions the civic body is facing, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) said on Wednesday that lands in the federal capital will be put up for sale.
Plots in Blue Area, Centers, and Park Road will be up for auction, which is scheduled to happen from January 10–12 at the F9 Park in Gandhara Hall, according to a CDA spokesman.
Along with fruit and vegetable stores, the auction list also has gas stations, Class-3 shopping centers, agro farms, apartment complexes, IT centers, and hostel plots.
A significant 10% reduction will be given in accordance with the CDA for full payments received within a month of the offer being accepted.
In addition, building plan approval will be given following the first installment payment.
The civic organization held an auction in May for commercial plots in Blue Area and adjacent developing areas.
Agro farms, gas stations, the E-11 northern strip, the Class-III shopping center, the Park Enclave commercial area, and the Blue Area E-11/F-11, Canopy side were among the venues up for auction.
After thereafter, a CDA official spoke with APP and disclosed that the first installment would be 25% of the bid price and would need to be paid within 30 days of the bid being accepted.
