ISLAMABAD According to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the government’s Recharge Pakistan program is attempting to lessen the effects of drought and floods brought on by climate change by implementing ecosystem-based adaptation.
“In the meantime, through our Living Indus initiative, we are implementing 25 priority interventions—from promoting nature-based agriculture and restoring the Indus delta to curbing industrial pollution and investing in green infrastructure,” he wrote in a statement on March 22, World Water Day.
