Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif traveled to Quetta on Thursday to show support for the people and assess the state of law and order in the wake of the fatal Jaffar Express kidnapping.
The Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, the Federal Minister for Science and Technology Nawabzada Mir Khalid Magsi, the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, and Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar are all with the PM.
The premier’s visit follows security forces’ Tuesday elimination of all 33 Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) militants who had taken over 400 passengers prisoner aboard the Jaffar Express.
