As per the sources, this action will allow ministries and divisions to use headhunting agencies on their own to select specialists and professionals, provided that the relevant minister, advisor, or minister of state gives their approval.
Prior to this, such hirings needed the Prime Minister’s consent, which frequently caused delays and bottlenecks.
The Establishment Division will henceforth have a shared pool of headhunting companies, guaranteeing a transparent and competitive hiring procedure for experts.
