Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared on Monday that a transparent and effective digital wallet system is being used to distribute monies allotted to recipients under the Ramadan Relief Package 2025.
The prime minister emphasized that this efficient, responsible strategy should be used as a template for future government-run programs while chairing a meeting to discuss the Ramadan package.
The Prime Minister unveiled a Rs20 billion Ramadan package on March 1 that will help around 20 million individuals over the first 10 days of Ramadan and serve four million worthy families.
The prime minister had expressed delight with the lower price spike in 2025 compared to prior years during Ramadan when he launched the scheme, which gives each family Rs 5,000 deposits via digital wallets.
