ISLAMABAD: From February 10–11, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will go to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a two-day official visit in order to attend the World Governments Summit (WGS) in Dubai.
In a statement released on Sunday, a Foreign Office spokeswoman said, “The summit will bring together a large number of heads of state/government, global policymakers, and leading private sector figures to discuss the future of governance, innovation, and international cooperation.”
Since taking office in March 2024, PM Shehbaz has made two trips to the United Arab Emirates.
In keeping with Pakistan’s strong commitment to strengthening its ties with the UAE and other international partners, he would be joined by a high-level delegation that included Senator Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, as well as other important cabinet members.
