ISLAMABAD: In an effort to improve economic cooperation, encourage investment, and fortify bilateral ties, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to travel to Saudi Arabia for a four-day visit from March 19 to 22.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) said in a statement that PM Shehbaz will meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to discuss and decide how to increase trade, strengthen partnerships in important areas, and promote more economic cooperation.
“Matters of mutual interest and concern, including global and regional developments,” stated the statement.
The prime minister’s visit will open the door to greater understanding between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan and highlights their long-standing historical ties.
