ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz decided to take the parliamentary party into confidence over the said topic, according to sources who spoke with Geo News on Saturday, as the current government gets ready to introduce constitutional amendments in the legislature.
According to sources, the prime minister has called a meeting at the PM House for tonight at 7:00 p.m., after which there will be a banquet held in honor of those present.
This comes as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is adamantly opposed to PM Shehbaz’s administration’s planned introduction of a “constitutional amendment” in the National Assembly (NA) to raise the retirement age of judges of higher courts.
