KARACHI: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Karachi is expected to see heavy to moderate rainfall on April 13 and 14.
The Met Department reports that in the upcoming days, moderate to severe rainfall is also anticipated in several parts of Sindh, including Sukkur and Larkana.
According to the Met Office, a fresh bout of rain is expected to accompany a system of westerly winds that is currently affecting the country’s top regions and will soon move into the country’s southern and eastern areas.
The Meteorological Department predicts that Karachi will continue to have hot and muggy weather for the next 24 hours, with a possible high temperature of 36°C.
At present, there is a 75% humidity level in the atmosphere and 11 km/h winds coming from the west.
Prior to this, weather specialist Jawad Memon had forecast that beginning on April 13 or 14, westerly winds will cause rain across much of the nation.
