KARACHI: Although the monsoon season is still in full swing in many parts of the nation, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted sporadic drizzle and rain for the port city this evening or tonight.
According to the Met Office, the city’s weather is anticipated to stay hot and muggy over the next 24 hours, with a maximum temperature predicted to stay between 34°C and 36°C.
The PMD reports that the minimum temperature in the city is 28.5°C, with humidity levels at 78% and a wind speed of 14 km/h.
The prognosis from the weather service is set against the backdrop of light to heavy rains expected in Karachi from Tuesday through Thursday.
Owais Haider, a meteorologist, told News on Sunday that rain was predicted.
