Speaking to the Polish parliament, Tusk stated that the government planned to provide comprehensive information in the upcoming months.
“Prepare large-scale military training for every adult male in Poland,” he said to the Sejm.
“We will try to have a model ready by the end of this year so that every adult male in Poland is trained in the event of war, so that this reserve is comparable and adequate to the potential threats.”
Zelensky hopes that next week’s US-Ukraine negotiations would be “meaningful.”
According to Tusk, Russia has over 1.3 million soldiers, while Ukraine has 800,000. He also wants to expand the Polish army, including reservists, from its current size of 200,000 to 500,000.
