The inquiry into the death of Javed Butt, Khawaja Tareef Butt’s brother-in-law, also known as Teefi Butt, in Lahore has made significant headway. The primary suspect in the deadly shooting, according to the police, has been identified.
According to sources, a manhunt is in progress to capture the shooter who rode a motorcycle and was identified as Azhar, a Santnagar, Islampura, resident.
Police records state that Azhar allegedly obtained a rickshaw from Garhi Shahu resident Wajihaul Hasan in order to carry out the crime. Azhar parked the rickshaw at a stall in the Sandah neighborhood the day of the murder before getting on a motorcycle and starting the shooting.
After tracking down the rickshaw, detectives were able to name Azhar as the main suspect.
