The Rawat Police have withdrawn their fraud case against actor Javed Sheikh and five other individuals, citing lack of jurisdiction due to the events taking on in Karachi.
Speaking with news , Rawat SHO Chaudhry Zulfikar stated that the complaint was filed in accordance with court instructions under Pakistan Penal Code Section 420, which addresses deceit and dishonestly obtaining property delivery. According to SHO Zulfikar, they learned throughout the investigation that the transaction happened in Karachi and was therefore outside of their purview. He also mentioned that a case discharge report had been written.
A fraud complaint was filed by the Rawat Police on June 6th against Sheikh, Sameer Jadoon, Jamal Khan, Rana Zahid, Azhar Hussain, and Jahanzeb Alam.
According to the allegations, the organization tricked a couple into investing Rs. 5 million, but they were unable to provide the promised profits. Sheikh served as the company’s brand ambassador.
The accused were called in by the police for the investigation, and the case was brought on the additional district and sessions judge’s orders. Amjad Mahmood, the applicant, asserted that the group persuaded him and his spouse, Iram Amjad, to invest their money by promising them a 7% monthly profit.
