In Karachi’s Rizvia Society, police have raided a gutka (betel) factory located on top of a mosque.
The equipment and supplies needed to make gutka were taken from the mosque’s roof by the police.
SSP Asghar Ali claimed that Ashfaq, a guy, had hired out a portion of the mosque’s roof in order to run this illicit gutka production facility.
The suspect has escaped, and the police are currently executing raids in an attempt to capture him.
