In Khuzdar area of Balochistan, an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded Wednesday, killing at least four people and injuring five more, according to authorities.
The police said that the explosion, which set surrounding cars on fire and created significant panic in the region, happened in the Naal Bazaar neighborhood.
The explosive device was planted in a motorcycle, law enforcement officials revealed.
Police and rescue crews raced to the area after the explosion, started relief efforts, and transported the injured to Khuzdar and Naal Teaching Hospitals. Additionally, the area was roped off.
