Police have identified a mother who died in a hit-and-run accident after being smashed off an e-bike.
In Pleasley, Derbyshire, on Tuesday night, a 4×4 chased two e-bikes, including Alana Armstrong, 25, who was riding on one of them.
After their bike was hit by the dark-colored car on a country lane, the rider, a man in his 20s, was rushed to the hospital and had to have one of his legs amputated below the knee.
A man and woman who were previously arrested in connection with the event have been freed without charges after Derbyshire Police opened a murder investigation.
The police head declares, “I’m devastated for her little boy.”
