KARACHI: Kamran Asghar Qureshi, the father of Armaghan Qureshi, the main suspect in the notorious Mustafa Amir murder case, was taken into custody by the Karachi Police’s Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) on Thursday.
The arrest occurred during a police raid at Armaghan’s home in the Khayaban-e-Momin neighborhood of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA), according to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Anil Haider of the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC).
The SSP stated that a case has been filed and that additional investigation is in progress after revealing that the suspect had a 9mm pistol and ice (drugs) in his possession.
