According to a report by the Russian news agency, the Qatari embassy in Moscow mediated the reunion of six children with their families.
Maria Lvova-Belova, the Russian commissioner for children’s rights, stated on Thursday that “six of the 64 children have [been] reunited with relatives in Russia.”
Due to the attacks, certain schools close to the Ukrainian border may close early before the summer vacation, according to Belgorod’s governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov.
Putin pledged on Wednesday to help the citizens of Belgorod who have lost their houses and places of business.
