Mark Ruffalo shared his biggest nightmare in an open manner.
The hitmaker of Poor Things just made an appearance on the most recent Smartless podcast edition.
The 56-year-old talked candidly about his brain tumor diagnosis during this conversation.
In the course of the talk, Mark revealed, “I had a brain tumor after You Can Count on Me became successful.”
He went on to say that the illness was initially diagnosed as a nightmare that subsequently proved to be true.
“I had one of those four in the morning calls and I woke up probably around three in the morning and I just had this crazy dream,” the 13 Going on 30 actor said.
All I heard was, “You have a brain tumor.”
“There was no voice at all. “You have to deal with it immediately; you have a brain tumor,” he continued. It was just pure information.
He further revealed that when he visited the hospital that same morning, the neurologist discovered a lump the size of a golf ball behind his left ear.
The celebrity went on, “And she adds, ‘You have a golf ball-sized lump behind your left ear. We are unable to identify it until it is biopsied.
In another segment of the podcast, Mark Ruffalo revealed that he was unable to inform his spouse of his grave medical condition as, at the time, “the baby was imminently coming” and she was expecting their first child.
