ISLAMABAD The head of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) and the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, announced on Saturday that they have 100% agreement on the proposed constitutional amendment following back-to-back discussions with Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
The PPP head is making a desperate attempt to get all political parties, including the PTI, to agree on the judicial package.
Speaking to an audience at a public event in Hyderabad last night, the PPP chairman threatened to use a “controversial path” in order to pass the 26th constitutional amendment if the opposition parties did not back him in his attempts to enact the judiciary package by consensus.
