Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, reaffirmed his party’s unwavering commitment to bringing about judicial changes in the face of pressure from all sides, given that the coalition government lacks the necessary legislative support for its divisive constitutional modifications.
“It is impossible that we fail to complete a task that is required by giving in to pressure from someone,” Bilawal declared on Monday at a Peoples Lawyers Forum event in Quetta.
According to him, the PPP was instructed to revoke the previously suggested constitutional revisions or, alternatively, to reclaim the 18th Amendment.
