Ghulam Mustafa Shah, the PPP candidate, won the election for the position of Deputy Speaker with an outstanding 197 votes. This victory demonstrated Shah’s fellow party members’ support and confidence in him.
Junaid Akbar Khan of the Sunni Unity Council was a strong contender for the office of Deputy Speaker, receiving 92 votes.
The overall turnout was high, with 290 votes cast for the Deputy Speaker position. It’s important to note that one vote was rejected during the counting process.
