According to President Asif Ali Zardari, the budget should give special consideration to the middle class and impoverished members of society.
The leaders also talked about the development initiatives in the upcoming budget. The President was informed by the Prime Minister about his recent trip to China.
The Prime Minister was given the assurance by the President that he would assist in developing the nation and reaching its economic goals. Ahsan Iqbal, the minister of planning, was also present during the meeting.
