As the globe observed another International Day of Peace on Saturday, President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the need of “tolerance” and “dialogue” in the path to establishing world peace.
A “culture of peace, tolerance, and respect for the dignity of all individuals” is something that the president emphasized must be promoted through group initiatives.
“Together, we can shape a peaceful future and a better world where our successive generations could live in peace and harmony” , his statement read.
In the meantime, PM Shehbaz advocated for promoting “peace and stability” in the area by using conversation to settle long-standing conflicts.
