ISLAMABAD: According to The News on Monday, President Asif Ali Zardari will speak to the joint session of parliament today (Monday) to begin the current National Assembly’s (NA) second parliamentary year.
The NA Secretariat has released a single agenda item for the joint session of parliament, after making the required preparations.
The NA Secretariat has implemented stringent security measures for the joint session of parliament, which was called by the president to use the authority granted by Articles 54(1) and 56(3) of the Constitution, with NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq in the chair.
For security reasons, visitors are not permitted to enter Parliament House at all.
