Kate Middleton’s change in demeanor and public presence has recently spurred a significant discussion about the changes the Firm is going through.
According to Kate Mansey’s article for The Times, Ingrid Seward, the editor-in-chief of Majesty Magazine, acknowledged this.
“I think Kate’s illness was a real shock to William,” the editor wrote.
In the end, “people always say that going through a life-threatening illness like cancer really changes their perspective on life and makes them more aware of the world around them.”
The editor went on to say, “I believe that’s why they are interacting with the public now on a more emotional level,” now that she is in remission. In the royal family, hugs are far more common.
