Because of Prince George’s participation in King Charles’ coronation the previous year, Prince William and Kate Middleton were worried about their kid.
Tom Quinn, a royal specialist and commentator, claims that the Prince and Princess of Wales were concerned their son might be too affected by the momentous occasion.
Despite their close relationship, the expert said that William and George had “a bit of an argument” because of George’s involvement in the important occasion, which brought up painful memories for William.
“I’ve heard from my contacts that there is a bit of an argument going on about whether George should play a more formal role,” he stated to The Express.”I’ve heard that Kate and William are worried that it will be too much for him.”
George’s participation in the coronation was similar to William and Prince Harry’s experiences at their mother Princess Diana’s funeral, despite the events being of a different character.
“It’s almost like how William and Harry were sometimes forced to go to formal events that they shouldn’t have been forced to go to—the most well-known being their mother’s funeral and walking behind her coffin at such a young age,” the analyst remarked.
Many others criticized that, saying it was terrible to force two boys so young—especially Harry—to do such a thing.
