Following his death, the Oscar-winning Hollywood legend Gene Hackman is being honored for his illustrious career, with a flashback interview exposing his greatest regret.
In 1999, the 95-year-old actor, who received two Oscars and five nominations, talked about one regret from his six-decade career.
“Yes, I wish that maybe in the ’80s, late ’70s, and early ’80s that I had moved back to New York and kept more in touch with the theater so that I could have maybe expanded my craft and kept more in touch with what acting means to me,” he said in an interview with journalist Charlie Rose about his possible comeback to the stage.
