The Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) has criticized the government’s callousness and lack of consultation on the matter, as millions of people around Pakistan continue to experience sporadic internet outages that negatively impact both communications and companies.
“We wish to collaborate with the government.” When addressing on News’ “Pakistan” show on Monday, P@SHA Senior Vice Chairman Ali Ihsan said, “What such need arose that we have been thrown out of the loop.”
His comments are made in light of the problems that people and businesses are currently facing with slow internet speeds or access restrictions, which experts attribute to higher levels of security and surveillance brought about by the installation of firewalls to prevent unwanted content from reaching a larger audience.
