PESHAWAR: Following the release of a video showing Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police officers being handcuffed, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has attacked the federal and Punjabi governments for their decision to arrest the officers.
Faisal Amin Khan Gandapur, a member of the National Assembly (MNA), posted the video on his X account on Friday, calling the handcuffing of KP police officers a “dishonourable act” that degrades them.
“The fascist dictatorship is fostering an unparalleled degree of animosity between [the two] provinces. He insisted, “It appears that these individuals have vowed to destroy Pakistan.”
Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Omar Ayub, retweeted the video on social media, claiming it was a live demonstration of the chaos brought about by the Punjabi and federal governments.
