The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has condemned the “uncertain” D-Chowk march, claiming that the workers’ morale was damaged by the “disappearance” of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur. The PTI has announced another protest in Islamabad for next week.
Speaking on a private news channel, Atif made reference to the PTI’s protest that occurred in the federal capital last week. He said that the party leadership ought to have made it clear what the workers at D-Chowk were expected to do, and that the members of the party were starting to doubt one another for being dishonest.
The legislator’s comments coincide with the controversy surrounding last week’s protests, which were sparked by the disappearance of KP Chief Minister Gandapur during an Islamabad police raid on the KP House in the federal capital during a party rally.
