Sheikh Waqas Akram, a spokesman for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stated that his party would not negotiate with the parties before their planned nationwide protest on November 24.
“There is no chance of talks with the government or the establishment prior to the demonstration,” Akram stated in an interview on Sunday’s “Naya Pakistan” show on Geo News.
Imran Khan, the imprisoned founder of the PTI, urged his followers to march to Islamabad on November 24 last week.
“This is the last call for a [anti-government] protest, according to Imran Khan. After a meeting in Adiala Jail, the PTI founder’s lawyer, Faisal Chaudhry, emphasized that the whole leadership of the party would participate in the march.
