The Senate Chairman’s office has verified that PTI Senator Sania Nishtar has resigned from her Senate seat.
According to sources, Nishtar’s resignation was motivated by personal factors.
Nishtar was elected as a senator from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2021 and has prioritized healthcare reform and social welfare programs during his tenure. In the Senate, where her efforts were largely acknowledged, her retirement represents a significant shift.
