As the region continues to be battered by intense monsoon rains, all government and private educational institutions in the Hyderabad district will be closed tomorrow, August 29.
Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad made the announcement in reaction to the current meteorological conditions.
The Deputy Commissioner underlined that the holiday is required to protect workers and pupils from the continuing rain.
All district educational institutions have received a formal notification stating that the closure is only applicable to Hyderabad.
In the area, the monsoon rains have already seriously disrupted things. Rainfall has been uneven, with spots like Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Chambar, Mehrabpur, and Faridabad experiencing moderate showers to intense downpours.
