On Wednesday, podcaster and YouTuber Junaid Akram abruptly announced that he will no longer be producing content.
Akram stated that he had always wanted to “be his own boss” but was unaware of the responsibilities that would entail it in a Facebook posting.
He said that he was “burned out” by his continual travel, meetings, and job.
After stating, “It’s safe to say that it’s time to switch off,” Akram bid everyone farewell.
With 1.17 million YouTube subscribers and 1.8 million Facebook followers, Akram is one of the more recognizable faces on Pakistan’s internet scene.
A vlog from Madina that received over five million views was his most popular video.
