ISLAMABAD: Punjab won first place in the week-long athletic spectacle at Pakistan Sports Complex Islamabad, marking the conclusion of the Quaid-e-Azam Inter-Provincial Games 2024 on Thursday.
With an unprecedented total of 173 medals—78 gold, 53 silver, and 42 bronze—Punjab outperformed its rivals to solidify its supremacy in the national sporting arena.
Punjab’s athletes outperformed their competitors in a number of events, leaving them well behind.
With an incredible collection of 98 medals, including 29 gold, 31 silver, and 38 bronze, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) came in second. With 79 medals, including 16 gold, 28 silver, and 35 bronze, Sindh took third place.
