The Punjab provincial government has taken a major step to guarantee the quality of fuel sold throughout the province by launching a massive operation that targets gas stations.
The objective of this program is to regularly examine all gas stations each month to ensure that the gasoline satisfies the necessary requirements.
The Punjab Environmental Protection Act was used to launch the operation, demonstrating the government’s dedication to protecting consumers and the environment. The directive states that employees of oil marketing firms and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will work together to inspect fuel at different gas stations throughout the province.
In order to guarantee that the fuel being sold meets the requirements established by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), the EPA will make use of its cutting-edge fuel quality laboratories.
