Punjab Police have successfully carried out an operation to retrieve Constable Ahmed Nawaz, who was abducted two days ago by dacoits from the Kach region of Machchka.
In the devastating attack on the Punjab Police, Ahmed Nawaz was kidnapped, resulting in the martyrdom of 12 policemen and the injuries of four others.
His family is extremely relieved and happy to hear of his safe return, a Punjab Police spokesperson said.
Dr. Usman Anwar, Inspector General of Punjab Police, stressed that the force’s primary priority was ensuring Constable Ahmed Nawaz’s safe recovery. He reaffirmed the police’s dedication to the continuous suppression effort in Kucha and promised to purge the neighborhood of criminal groups.
Rahim Yar Khan, the recently appointed DPO, emphasized the strong resolve and morale.
