With 31 cases in Punjab in the last 24 hours, dengue fever is a serious threat to the nation.
Details show that Lahore had one case of dengue, whereas Rawalpindi reported thirty cases.
In the meantime, 266 cases have been reported from Punjab in the past week.
In addition, the province has recorded 786 cases so far this year.
- Quetta reports two more cases of Congo fever.
Separately, Quetta reported two more cases of the Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) on Sunday, indicating that Congo fever is still a threat to Balochistan.
Details indicate that two of the suspected patients contracted the Congo fever while undergoing treatment in the isolation ward at the Fatima Jinna Hospital.
“Two days ago, two patients succumbed to Congo fever,” stated Dr. Muhammad Ali.
