An agreement to manage more than 3,600 government schools through a public-private partnership was inked by the Punjab government on Thursday.
Details state that Punjab’s Minister of Education, Rana Sikandar Hayat, attended the signing event in Lahore as the chief guest. Under the terms of this arrangement, an education technology company, 12 education networks, and 21 NGOs will oversee 3,600 schools.
The goal of this program is to enroll more than 1.8 million kids in school.
Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat emphasized that thousands of educated kids might find respectable jobs through this project.
He added that schools that performed really well under this initiative will also receive upgrades.
