Despite the reopening of schools, Punjab’s anti-smog effort is still going strong, according to Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb.
She urged people to address the problem and underlined the continued use of preventative measures to fight smog.
During a press conference, the minister asked owners of trucks, buses, cars, and motorcycles to make sure their vehicles don’t contribute to pollution. In order to lessen smog, she also urged manufacturers and industrialists to embrace eco-friendly procedures.
According to Maryam Aurangzeb, “the media is essential in educating people and raising awareness about the dangers of smog and the necessary precautions.” She said she was confident that the smog problem could be resolved with cooperation.
