Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched a plan to distribute 20,000 motorcycles to students across the state in an effort to provide them with more convenient transportation.
This program aims to minimize transportation issues experienced by students and improve their access to educational institutions.
Addressing a ceremony in Lahore, she stated that under the program, the Punjab government will cover the down payment for the vehicles, allowing students to obtain them with ease.
Maryam Nawaz, while elaborating on the facts, stated that students will pay monthly installments of less than Rs5,000, providing affordability for students from all socioeconomic backgrounds.
Furthermore, the chief minister highlighted that in less than two years, pupils will have full ownership of the bikes.Providing them with a precious item that increases their mobility and independence.
In addition to offering motorcycles, the chief minister emphasized the significance of road safety and advised students to drive safely.
