Maryam Nawaz, the chief minister of Punjab, shocked everyone on Thursday by dressing in a police outfit for the provincial police’s passing out parade.
The chief executive of the province conveyed her joy at the 650 women who joined the Punjab police in her speech. Maryam continued, saying that she is glad to see female police officers carrying out their duties while holding arms at the various public demonstrations she attends.
She added that she looked forward to the passing out parade ever since she received an invitation from the Punjab police inspector general.
“CM Maryam stated that she realized the female police officers would have taken their training seriously when she saw them today.”
