President Zelensky of Ukraine called on Europe to “push Russia harder” in a speech commemorating the 1,000th day since Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine.
“The more time he [Putin] has, the worse the conditions become,” he announced Tuesday during a special meeting of the European Parliament.
A day after Washington indicated its approval, Zelensky spoke amid rumors that Ukraine had struck a target deep inside Russia using the US-provided Atacams long-range missile system for the first time.
About 100 kilometers from the border, in the Russian region of Bryansk, a munitions storage was hit by the missiles, according to an unverified claim on the news website.
