The Queen’s Reading Room Medal was launched with a reception at Clarence House sponsored by Queen Camilla and King Charles.
To commemorate the Queen’s Reading Room’s continued efforts to promote reading, the Duchess of Gloucester, as well as a number of well-known writers and literary figures, joined the Queen.
The Queen’s Reading Room, according to the palace, aims to enable more people discover and connect with books that enhance their lives while also celebrating and promoting the value of reading.
Now in its second year, The Queen’s Reading Room has started an annual festival and a podcast since its inception.
