Congo fever continues to pose a threat to Balochistan; Quetta announced two more instances of the Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) on Sunday.
Details indicate that two of the suspected patients contracted the Congo fever while undergoing treatment in the isolation ward at the Fatima Jinna Hospital.
“Two days ago, two patients succumbed to Congo fever,” stated Dr. Muhammad Ali.
“Nine patients have succumbed to the Congo fever in Balochistan in the ongoing year,” said Ali.
Bahawalpur reports one case of Congo fever.
Bahawalpur announced on Saturday a few days ago that there had been one incidence of Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF).
Details reveal that 42-year-old Zafar Iqbal, a resident of Khanewal, was sent to Bahawal Victoria Hospital due to a fever and bleeding from his nose.
