RAWALPINDI: In the General Headquarters (GHQ) attack case, an anti-terrorism court indicted 14 additional defendants on Thursday, including Kyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and top PTI leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi.
Other PTI leaders, such as Kanwal Shauzab, Shehryar Afridi, and Shibli Faraz, were also accused by the court for their alleged roles in the May 9 violent protests that occurred across the nation last year.
As of right now, 113 individuals have been charged in the case, and on Saturday, December 21, the court called the remaining six accused.
Qureshi, Shozab, and the KP chief minister submitted a petition for acquittal in the case that would be heard by the ATC after the indictment.
