Pakistan’s music virtuoso said in his most recent video, “I recorded this special message to apologise to everyone,” and continued, “I am bowing my head before Allah Almighty to seek pardon.” As a person and especially as an artist, I shouldn’t act in this way.
Khan acknowledged his error and acknowledged that his family had been connected to Qawwali art, which celebrates love, peace, and brotherhood, for the previous 600 years. He also noted that his cruel treatment of the family had been captured on tape.
